R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 73: BELIEVING IS SEEING



We've all heard the expression "SEEING IS BELIEVING" and it's fair to say that most people take this to be a statement of truth.

For we shouldn't have conditional faith in this statement. (One shouldn't always believe the eyes, after all, the eyes would have you falsely believe that the two rails of a train track merge together in the distance; that the earth is flat; and that land and sky to converge on the horizon.) Clearly, seeing shouldn't necessarily mean believing.

As we now know, life is lived from the inside out. Everything we see or experience in the world begins in mind and moves into material form. This is true of the car, the wedding and the 4.0 GPA. Paradoxically, "BELIEVING IS SEEING". Belief is an inner state. Belief is confidence, faith and trust in something before that is actual proof. Belief is a powerful state of mind that nurtures into being that which we eventually will see.

So in creating your "fulfilled life", if you desire to see a certain thing or circumstance materialize, a strong dose of unwavering BELIEF is a helpful thing to have.

Indeed, BELIEVING IS SEEING.
