R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 55: Re commitment

R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 55: Re commitment

Over the last few weeks, a few of your have "let me have it"-- questioning my resolve and commitment to do what I set out to do back in November: to blog daily with a goal of providing guidance and insight on "living the good life".

I committed with enthusiasm to blog on your true nature as unique individuals inherently equipped for to live fulfilled lives and to provide some insights on how you can create and live your "good life".

So fessing-up and acknowledging that I got distracted some days during the holidays and into the new year.

BUT THERE'S A POWERFUL LESSON IN THIS FOR ALL OF US: The seeker of the "good life" is a transformer, always looking the guAranteed glimmer of good that existing in all circumstances; I am talking about a spark of good that can ignite a fire storm of greatness. So, from my transformer state of mind, I look and I find a few good things in my slacking off:

1. First, I learned that the skipped days were noticed, which means somebody, besides me, is reading and depending on the blog regularly.

2. I found that I actually missed doing the blog; that doing it daily is a powerful awareness builder for ME in my own personal journey to live my own "good life".

3. I am reminded that slacking off is just that: slacking off---not giving up. In the same way that we can (and will) be distracted along our journeys, we can reestablish the rhythm in a flash, if we choose.

4. Finally, there's indeed something powerful about inviting other positive supportive people to be the watchers and to hold you accountable to the commitments you make in bringing about and living your "good life".

Glad to be in the flow again. Thanks BarryJ
