R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 16: QUIET "IS" GOLDEN

R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 16: QUIET "IS" GOLDEN

In the quiet and out of the stillness of life come thoughts, ideas, revelations, solutions, answers and insights that have the power to move us from where is are to where we want to be.

Now R.I.S.E. and REALIZE (your) INHERENT SELF-EXCELLENCE.

Live Life by Design; Not By Default!!

Some commentary on today's words:

As I wrote today's RISE Words, a passage came to mind from a book I read by Florence Scovill-Shinn entitled The Game Of Life and How to Play It. It was written in the 1930's. The passage says: "One's ship sails in over calm, quiet waters".

My interpretation: One's ship (meaning: the good that one seeks, one's bounty, one's blessing) isn't likely to emerge in and through noise, drama, chaous and discord. The Good of your "good life" requires a measure of peace and calm and tranquility that you can find only in intentional quiet and silence.

So take time each and every day to be still and quiet and consciously be in the silence. And be open to the "the good" that is available to you if you tune your mind and expectation to the "good" level.
