R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 1 Stepping Boldly!!

Welcome to my inaugural blog of the ALL R.I.S.E. Movement, an a-political, non-judgmental, non-denominational movement committed to enlightening, encouraging and enabling everyone to live a life that reflects their inherent unlimited potential and to begin doing it NOW. As the philosopher Goethe said, and I paraphrase: ‘ The moment you declare your intention, all the universe conspires with you to bring about that which you intend.’ The launch of my blog today is really living proof that Goethe kind of knew what he was talking about.

After speaking in New York on November 4th to a gathering of 40+ college students visiting from colleges around the nation about their life-given power and potential to create and live abundant, fulfilling lives, I decided I needed to provide a daily dose of awareness, light, encouragement, insight, direction that I could draw from my own experiences. And I decided to begin it by publishing a daily message, some R.I.S.E. words, that will get distributed each and every day of the week. Frequency is packed with the potential to influence, as I well know from my former role as a music marketing exec with Sony Music and BMG. We needed high frequency and heavy rotation to influence musical taste and purchases. Similarly, we need high frequency and heavy rotation of messages to remind us of our potential, our power, and the endless possibilities of life. The R.I.S.E. words, affirmations will be published here each and every day starting today. Eventually they will be published via facebook, myspace, email, mobile text and on a live web TV program---all coming sooner than the winter solstice. Tha’s my commitment; so bank it

There's another saying I really like (I think I first heard it in the movie Sleepless in Seattle): Great things happen all at once; good things happen over time. I am declaring that this movement and effort is Great, as it's certainly coming together all at once. So I have to give some respect to a few people who have motivated (read: pushed) me in the last 96 hours to step boldly and launch this: Kevin Nakao digerati, wireless, music hipster and all around amazing friend and task master; James "KeyInfluencer" Andrews the most techno-aware pop culture, marketing guru I know; DeJuan Galloway the coolest brightest 18 year old metaphysician and college junior you'll ever meet; Marullus Williams my claire voyante, sharp-as-a-dagger, techno wizard, tell-it-like-it-is friend and business partner; Moonbeam Hall my brother and friend, advocate, motivator, challenger and rapidly becoming A-student. And don’t forget Mom and Dad!!

All right. I AM EXCITED. I'm trying to stay subdued and chilled. But I just had a brain rush, realizing that this is a big moment in time.

You are the son or daughter of the Creator, of Life itself, complete with immeasurable potential, overflowing substance and unlimited possibilities. The greatest names in history and the most famous among us now, are simply Life's demonstration of the magnitude of the unique potential that is inherent within you; and only you can activate it.
