R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 14: BE FIRST, THEN HAVE

R.I.S.E. WORDS: Day 14: BE, THEN HAVE

'I WENT OUTSIDE "TO FIND" A FRIEND AND COULD NOT FIND ONE THERE. I WENT OUTSIDE "TO BE" A FRIEND, AND FRIENDS WERE EVERYWHERE.'

Now R.I.S.E. and REALIZE (your) INHERENT SELF-EXCELLENCE.

Live by Design and Not By Default!!
~BarryJ

I imagine you might be saying, HUH? What does that rhyme have to do with living "the good life" and living life fully and by design. If so, read on:

Today's R.I.S.E. Words are a saying that my Mom taught me years ago and happened to speak again when I was home for Thanksgiving last Thursday. Simple, but profound, these are surely words that hold some real valuable insight for those of us who desire to live the "good life" that we are created and intended to live by Life itself. The message in the rhyme is that I have to take the initiative and be the initiator first in order to see, have, receive, experience. Whether it's friends, love, gifts, health. The first move is ours; then Life responds in kind. Peace.
